Transcript of an agreement dated 16 July 1771 between:

1. Joseph Vickers, son of William Vickers of Marr in the County of York, Husbandman

2. John Ash and John Ash the younger of Leeds, patten makers

for 1. to learn as an apprentice patten maker to 2. for four years starting 13 July 1771 for a stipendiary wage of one shilling and four pence per annum. Witnesses: Tas. Newport Junior, Robert Plows, Joseph Vickers, John Ash, John Ash Junior.
